1. O’Mega Blake – Top 15

Building up the playmakers on the football team is something this Illinois coaching staff is trying to accomplish. That means getting athletes on the outside to help our quarterback. O’Mega Blake would be a great help in this area.

Blake is a 6-foot-2, 188-pound wide receiver from South Pointe High School and resides in Rock Hill, South Carolina. He is rated as a three-star recruit who is the No. 916 player in the class of 2021 and the No. 131 wide receiver in the nation. He is also the No. 13 player in the state of South Carolina.

Back on May 14, Blake decided to trim his list a little bit. Had a number of scholarship offers but wanted to narrow his scope to just 15 teams. The 15 programs to make his top list includes Syracuse, Virginia Tech, Virginia, North Carolina State, Kentucky, Indiana, Penn State, Michigan State, Tennessee, Kansas State, Pittsburgh, UNLV, Texas Tech, East Carolina and Illinois.

There are still a ton of teams on the top list for Blake. It is hard to say which program is in the lead at this point. I believe there will be another cut down the road. Illinois should be able to make the next cut. Blake will be a hard player to land, though.
