1. Adam Miller

The co-biggest target for the Illinois basketball team is Adam Miller. The Illini have been recruiting this kid since he has been in diapers. He has all the talent in the world and is someone who could elevate the team from good to great.

Miller is a 6-foot-3, 170-pound shooting guard from Morgan Park High School in Chicago, Illinois. He is rated as a four-star recruit who is the No. 29 player in the class of 2020 and the No. 5 shooting guard in the nation. He is also the No. 2 player in the state of Illinois as well.

247Sports has Louisville, Arizona State, Kansas and Illinois as the four teams vying for Miller’s commitment right now. He hasn’t cut a list down, so I am not sure how viable this top four is. But, if these were the four teams that Miller wants to take a harder look at, history tells me that Kansas and Illinois will be the ones duking it out for his commitment.

Kansas has Bill Self and Jerrance Howard both recruiting Miller, which scares me. These two have plucked some good talent out of the state of Illinois. Getting Miller won’t be an easy task for Coach Chin Coleman and the Illini staff. They can’t let up or a team like Kansas will swoop in and take him.
