Ira Henry – Top 10

Another top offensive lineman the Illini are after is Ira Henry. Illinois has already started to build a great offensive line but adding a player like Henry would give it a huge boost.

Henry is a 6-foot-5, 320-pound offensive tackle form Trinity Catholic High School in St. Louis, Missouri. He is rated as a three-star recruit who is the No. 803 player in the class of 2019 and the No. 77 offensive tackle in the nation.

The top list for Henry consists of ten teams. He included Alabama, Missouri, Iowa State, Mississippi State, Ole Miss, Florida, Minnesota, Tennessee, Oklahoma and Illinois on this list. This is a great group of teams, and I would be impressed if Illinois can pull in Henry.

247Sports has Henry 100-percent to Illinois, and I can see why. There are already players from Trinity Catholic committed to Illinois. He also has his former high school coach Cory Patterson at Illinois as well. This is a big draw. But, he is going to be a really tough get for the Illini.

I think Missouri and Ole Miss are going to be really tough teams to beat in this recruitment. Ole Miss just took an offensive lineman away from the state of Illinois. That makes me nervous. Missouri is also the in-state program for Henry as well. They are building down there too.

Henry has some options to weigh. I do believe Illinois is going to be a major player and will eventually land Henry. But, it will not be an easy get for the Orange and Blue.
