Drew Timme

Drew Timme is a 6-foot-11, 210-pound power forward from JJ Pearce High School in Richardson, Texas. He is rated as a four-star recruit who is the No. 93 player in the class of 2019 and the No. 15 power forward in the nation.

Timme is part of the Drive Nation AAU team down in Texas. They are 5-3 on the season so far and look to improve their record. Through the first few sessions, Timme has been one of the best players on the team as well. He has averaged 15.1 points, 7.4 rebounds, 1.3 assists and 1.3 blocks per game. He has done all of this while shooting 58.5-percent from the field.

The scoring from Timme has been pretty consistent. He has only dipped below 10 points in one game this season. His best game so far came against Nike Team Florida where he dropped 20 points and pulled down 10 rebounds. He was 9-of-13 from the field that day as well.

Timme’s recruitment has been quiet. No one is really sure where he stands as far as top teams, but Illinois continues to recruit him hard for 2019. They watched him at his last session and continue to be in communication. If Illinois is looking for a big man for the future, I think Timme would be a perfect option.
