Noah Boykin

Illinois always needs more defensive back help and getting Noah Boykin would solve that problem. He is a four-star cornerback who is the No. 276 player in the class of 2018 and the No. 1 player in Washington D.C.

Lovie wants bigger cornerbacks and he has made that known. Boykin is 6-foot-2 and that is exactly the type of player that the Illini need to succeed.

Jevon Holland

Another defensive back that the Illini have their eyes on is Jevon Holland. He is a four-star safety who is the No. 223 player in the class of 2018 and the No. 25 player in the state of California.

I would be shocked if Lovie can pull Holland out of California. He has almost the entire Pac-12 offer him a scholarship and also Notre Dame. Getting him would be the biggest accomplishment for Lovie.
