Jimmy McKenna

Jimmy McKenna is another offensive lineman that would help the team tremendously down the road. He is a three-star offensive tackle who is the No. 573 player in the class of 2018 and the No. 21 player in the state of Ohio.

McKenna has great size standing at 6-foot-5 and weighing 245-pounds. The 13 scholarship offers worries me but I think Illinois could find a way to be in consideration.

Cadarius Gaskin

Illinois continued to make a push in the state of Florida with an offer to Cadarius Gaskin. He is a three-star wide receiver who is the No. 772 player in the class of 2018 and the No. 120 player in the state of Florida.

Gaskin is 6-foot-2 so that size would be nice to have on the outside. He has 7 scholarship offers and it looks like he might be down to three programs. This recruitment could be too late for the Illini.

Braeden Daniels

Give me more offensive linemen. You can never have too many and someone like Braeden Daniels would be a nice depth piece. He is a three-star offensive tackle who is the No. 1049 player in the class of 2018 and the No. 145 player in the state of Texas.

Right now, Daniels has 8 scholarship offers and Illinois is the biggest program. This might be a nice pickup for the Illini if it isn’t too late in his recruitment.
