Re-al Mitchell

Illinois is trying to get in on the Re-al Mitchell recruitment a little late in the process. He is a three-star quarterback who is ranked as the No. 910 player in the class of 2018 and the No. 89 player in the state of California.

It looks like Mitchell will be committing here in a little over 15 days. The Illini would have to really make an impression on this kid to be able to land him.

Daniel George

I would love for Illinois to snag a player like Daniel George. He is a four-star wide receiver who is the No. 172 player in the class of 2018 and the No. 8 player in the state of Maryland.

George is a 6-foot-2, 195-pound wide receiver who could really make an impact on the Illini. If Lovie can get him away from the east coast, I would be amazed.

Isheem Young

Illinois continued to hand out scholarships to big-time players with offering Isheem Young. He is a four-star safety who is the No. 98 player in the class of 2018 and the No. 4 player in the state of Pennsylvania.

Young’s recruitment is about national powerhouse programs. He is being wooed by some teams that Illinois can’t compete with, yet. He would be a nice get for Lovie, but I am not counting on it.
