Ke’von Ahmad

Ke’Von Ahmad is a four-star wide receiver from Colleyville Heritage High School in Colleyville, Texas. He is listed as the No. 270 player in the class of 2018 and the No. 30 player in the state of Texas.

Ahmad now has 8 scholarship offers. There is a few that standout including Baylor and Louisville. Lovie is from Texas and if he can go in and get a four-star wide receiver, then I am all for it.

Khalil Shakir

Another wide receiver the Illini are targeting is Khalil Shakir. He is a three-star recruit who is the No. 1000 player in the class of 2018 and the No. 97 player in the state of California.

California is a massive state that can get players lost at times. There is so much talent and I like that the coaching staff is trying to find diamonds in the rough. He currently has 6 scholarship offers including from UCLA and Colorado.

Hunter Woodard

Illinois is also going after Hunter Woodard out of Tuscola High School in Tuscola, Illinois. He is truly a diamond in the rough because he is a three-star recruit who isn’t ranked nationally.

The thing that makes me think Woodard could be pretty talented is the scholarship offers. He has offers now from Oklahoma State and Arkansas as well. Those are in addition to Illinois and two others.
