COMMITTED

The Illinois defense has been mentioned multiple times with the previous recruits on this list.  This is an important aspect of the future for the football team.

Right now, Illinois has some feared defensive ends.  This tradition needs to be carried on and that job could be handed to Olalere Oladipo.

Oladipo is a big-time defensive end that is going to make an impact on a team early on in his career.

It looks like Oladipo is down to just six programs he will choose from and honestly I think it is possible that it actually could only be three teams, but he hasn’t officially announced that yet.

I think Michigan State, Duke, and Illinois could all be vying for Oladipo’s commitment.  He has announced that the commitment day is coming soon as well.

Carmoni Green made the decision to commit to a program on August 25 and it also looks like Oladpio will do the same.

I am hoping that Illinois is the decision Oladipo lands on here in a week.

Oladipo is rated as a 3-star defensive end who is ranked as the No. 760 player in the class of 2017 and the No. 12 player in the state of Illinois.

Getting Oladipo would be a huge accomplishment for Lovie and it would help show that the Illini own the state.
