G Demetrius Jackson
Demetrius Jackson was a 4-star point guard in the class of 2013. He had been recruited by 19 total teams but ended up narrowing it down to just two, Notre Dame and Illinois. While Notre Dame had the location, the Illini had the pedigree of great guard laden school.
He visited the Illini in August of 2013 and then the Irish that September. One week later Jackson announced he would attended Notre Dame and once again Illinois basketball was left looking for answers.
Now, Jackson is about to play in the Elite 8 of the 2015 NCAA Tournament. In the three Notre Dame wins in the tournament he has averaged 14 points and almost 5 assists per game.

He is one of the main staples for this Fighting Irish team that now plays the undefeated Kentucky Wildcats at 8:49 PM ET. This will be the biggest game of the year and Notre Dame may actually have a shot at pulling this one off.
Jackson will go a long way into defeating this Wildcats team. He is the X-factor for Notre Dame and is exactly what the Illinois basketball team needed.
