The Denver Broncos have a chance to keep building in 2025, and a big part of that rebuild will come from the 2025 NFL Draft.
Denver is 10 years removed from their last Super Bowl victory, and they just had their first 10-win campaign since then last season, winning 10 games on the nose.
Overall, the Sean Payton era of Broncos football has gotten off to a great start, too. He has spent two seasons in Denver and has amassed 18 wins and a playoff appearance, something that the Broncos hadn’t had since that Super Bowl season.
On top of the recent winning by Payton, he has had some pretty good NFL Drafts. In 2025, the Broncos ended up selecting former Illini standout Pat Bryant. In a report by NFL insider Jordan Schultz, Payton is raving about his new pass-catcher.
Schultz’s social media post mentions that Payton has called Bryant “unselfish.” The post goes on to mention that the Broncos have high hopes for Bryant, as Payton loves big wide receivers.
#Broncos HC Sean Payton says he loves big-bodied WRs, and one to watch in Denver is 3rd-round rookie Pat Bryant.

Pat Bryant has displayed unselfish wide receiver behavior in the preseason
When I see that a Super Bowl-winning head coach in Payton has high praise for someone like Bryant, it only validates what I saw at Illinois. Bryant has continued to show his team mentality throughout his playing career, and it is spilling over into the NFL now.
Bryant has also shown the unselfish behavior that Payton describes in preseason games. On multiple occasions, and there are clips to back it up, Bryant is seen laying blocks for his teammates. He doesn’t give up on plays even when he knows he’s not getting the ball.
This won’t be the last time you hear praise of Bryant, either. He is someone who is reliable, has great hands, and is a great team guy. Now you can add unselfish to the list of adjectives to describe this budding superstar.
