Cameron Boozer - Class of 2025

I am not just looking at the class of 2024 and the transfer portal when I write this article. I want Orlando Antigua’s impact to be felt for recruiting classes to come. That is why I have Cameron Boozer on this list.

Boozer is a 6-foot-9, 235-pound forward from Columbus High School in Florida. He is rated as a five-star recruit and ranked as the No. 2 player in the class of 2025. He is also the No. 1 power forward in the country and the No. 1 player in the state of Florida.

Throughout 2023, Boozer took official visits. He tripped to Miami (FL), Kentucky, Florida, and Duke. Boozer has yet to make a decision on where he wants to play in the college ranks, though.

Yes, this is the son of former NBA big man Carlos Boozer. Yes, he is one of the best players in the country. And yes, Antigua is able to land talented big men. That could be a great recipe to get Boozer to Champaign.

There hasn’t been any movement on Boozer in recent months. With Antigua now the associate head coach with the Illini, maybe we can get some type of visit from Boozer in the coming months. That is what I am hoping for at this point. Adding the No. 2 player in the class of 2025 would be huge. Let me dream.
