11. Wisconsin Badgers 6-6 (4-5 Big Ten)

Despite Wisconsin adding a big arm to the offense this offseason, I just don’t see the Badgers having a good year. They are likely taking a step backward.

  • Biggest Wins: Minnesota

There aren’t a lot of good teams that I have Wisconsin beating. None of their wins jump off the page, but the final game of the season against Minnesota could be a big one.

Heading into that game, the Badgers have five wins. They need that win to get to a bowl game. I have Wisconsin beating Minnesota and clinching a bowl berth.

  • Biggest Losses: @ Iowa, @ Nebraska.

Wisconsin has a really tough schedule in 2024. When I look at their losses, none of them are even close to surprising except for the Iowa and Nebraska games.

I have the Badgers falling to Alabama, USC, Penn State, Oregon, Iowa, and Nebraska. The Hawkeyes might not be ranked when this game rolls around, so a loss here would hurt.

Nebraska is going to shock some people in 2024. Wisconsin heads to Lincoln in hopes of clinching a bowl game, but they can’t pull it off. This proves to be too big of a test.

  • Biggest Threats: @ Rutgers, Minnesota

I think Wisconsin has a couple of big threats when it comes to teams they are projected to beat. Don’t sleep on Rutgers. While their quarterback situation isn’t great, the Scarlet Knights will always bring a good game plan to the table.

That Minnesota game is daunting as well. A home game against the Golden Gophers is tough. I have Wisconsin winning this game, but the pressure of getting to a bowl game might be too much.
