It hasn't been confirmed by Amar Reynolds yet, but it is being reported that he is signing on December 20 and will enroll at Illinois in June.

Illinois needed to load up on depth at the cornerback position. We were weak in this area in 2023, and having more capable players ready to go in the future is key. Reynolds will be one of those players for the Orange and Blue.

Brandon Hansen

On Wednesday, Brandon Hansen made it official as he announced he will be signing with Illinois on December 20 and will be enrolling early.

Hansen was the first Illinois commit of the class of 2024. He has been with us for such a long time, and his commitment is appreciated. I think Hansen, especially since he is enrolling early, has a chance to see snaps in year one. Look for this kid to quickly develop into a big piece on this team.

Tanner Hollinger

While it hasn't been confirmed by Tanner Hollinger just yet, it looks like the talented tight end will be signing on December 20. He will wait to enroll in June, though.

Illinois has some nice young pieces at the tight end position. While Tip Reiman is departing, I think the Illini look good with players like Owen Anderson, Tanner Arkin, and Griffin Moore, to name a few. Hollinger should come in and redshirt in year one. By 2025, I expect him to see snaps and really develop into a solid tight end for this program.
