Illinois basketball is heading back to the Elite 8 for the first time since 2005.

In what ended up being a great game, the Illini were able to fend off a tough No. 2 seed Iowa State Cyclones. The game was competitive throughout, which made for one stressful night of watching the Orange and Blue.

By the end of the game, Illinois was able to maintain a lead, albeit a small one. A big win over Iowa State, 72-69, had Illini Nation going crazy.
