Kylan Boswell adds NBA Draft workout with recent legendary dynasty

The NBA Draft is on the horizon, and Kylan Boswell is looking to get the Illinois basketball program another selection.

We are quickly approaching the 2026 NBA Draft, and there are plenty of questions left for the Illinois basketball program.

One of the big questions is which franchise will select Keaton Wagler? He is a great guard and a lock to go in the top 10. It is not about if but when for the Illini guard.

The other big question is about Kylan Boswell. Will he get picked in the draft? At this point, I think he will go in the middle-to-late second round, but who knows. There are teams that are interested in the four-year guard, though.

Boswell has already been on a few pre-draft workouts for franchises. The first one was back on May 27 with the Sacramento Kings. Hard pass.

The Indiana Pacers and Orlando Magic wanted to see what Boswell has in his repertoire on June 5 and June 6, respectively.

Boswell isn’t done yet, though. There is still plenty of time before the draft commences on June 23 to find a good home and a team that likes his skill set.

On Wednesday, Brett Siegel of ClutchPoints reported that Boswell has scheduled another pre-draft workout, and it will be with the Golden State Warriors on Thursday, June 11.

This makes the fourth pre-draft workout for Boswell, and the Warriors would be one of the best landing spots.

The Golden State Warriors have a great spot to take Kylan Boswell in the second round of the NBA Draft

I would welcome the Warriors taking Boswell. You can’t go to a better spot with leadership around him.

Boswell would be getting a great coach in Steve Kerr. He would get to learn veteran leadership from Steph Curry and everything he brings to the guard position.

There would also be somewhat of a connection, as the Warriors have former Illinois guard Brandin Podziemski on the roster. They could connect about the Illini, even though Podziemski’s stay was short.

Golden State has a prime spot to land Boswell, too. They have pick No. 24 in the second round. This is around the spot where Boswell is likely to go, so the fact that they are eyeing him makes sense.

I believe Boswell will get drafted into the NBA in a couple of weeks. There are some great options out there for him, but my hope is that his workout with the Warriors will convince them that he is the right option for the future.
