Who are some of the big players playing in the 2023 Senior Bowl

National Team

You will find some of the biggest names on both the National Team and the American Team. Five teams have three players playing on the National Team. BYU, Cincinnati, Illinois, Michigan, and Stanford are those five programs.

One of the best running backs in college football, Chase Brown, is going to be out there representing the Illini, along with teammates Quan Martin and Sydney Brown.

Louisville quarterback, Malik Cunningham is going to be on display with his tremendous arm and athletic ability. Ryan Hayes and Olusegun Oluwatimi are representing Michigan on the offensive line. The Wolverines have won the Joe Moore Award for the best college offensive line in the country in back-to-back years. One of the most underrated tight ends in Purdue’s Payne Durham will also be on display.

American Team

Alabama leads the way with seven players representing their program for the American Team, but there are also some other teams who are also represented well.

Georgia running back Kenny McIntosh will get the rock plenty for the American Team. I expect him to be featured a lot. It wouldn’t shock me to see Houston’s dynamic duo of quarterback Clayton Tune and wide receiver Nathaniel Dell hook up on multiple big plays in the game as well.

The American Team’s offensive line is going to have some big-time talent on display. Ole Miss lineman Nick Broeker is looking to make an impression while he has the national spotlight on him. Don’t be surprised if TCU gets a lot of action in this game as well. They have five players suiting up, including quarterback, Max Duggan.

Lastly, at one time, quarterback Hendon Hooker for Tennessee was a Heisman Trophy hopeful, but he went down with an injury. It looks like he might be on display for the world to see in the Senior Bowl as well.
