3. Keyshawn Hall

I think one of the final big pieces Illinois basketball could add for 2022 is Keyshawn Hall. He is a new name in the mix, but Hall is someone who could help this program.

Hall is a 6-foot-7, 255-pound power forward from The Skill Factory and resides in Atlanta, Georgia. He isn’t rated or ranked by 247Sports, but he does have roughly 19 scholarship offers on the table right now. That means he is a talented recruit.

In addition to Illinois, some of the bigger programs that want Hall to come to their program include the likes of Texas A&M, South Carolina, and Wichita State. But with some of the news that is coming out, it looks like the Illini are making up some ground.

Back on September 22, Illinois came in with their offer to Hall. On at least one occasion, Illini coaches have been in to visit Hall. There are also reports out there that Hall wants to take an official visit to Champaign sometime in the near future.

Hall’s recruitment is starting to heat up, but it looks like Illinois is going to be right in the mix when it is all said and done. Adding some size who can handle the basketball would be nice. That is what Hall would bring to the Illini. Hopefully, we are on the good end of a commitment down the road.
