3. Coaching staff is built for him

Illinois football had a coaching overhaul in the last month. Enter Bret Bielema and his extensive college coaching pedigree.

Despite a change with most position coaches, Illinois still retained Missouri high school coaching legend, Cory Patterson. He has strong ties to the state of Missouri with so much success at Trinity Catholic High School.

Patterson has been able to pull in a variety of talented recruits from the state of Missouri. Just on the roster right now, there are seven players from the state of Missouri and all of them will be high-level contributors.

Let’s also not forget about Illinois pulling Ryan Walters away from his duties as the Missouri Tigers’ defensive coordinator. He is taking over the Illini defense. Not only does he have ties to the state of Missouri, but he is also a solid defensive coordinator.

Beyond the local coaching ties, Illinois just has a great staff in general. Coach Bielema has a great history of developing talent and sending players to the NFL. He just hired Andy Buh as the linebackers coach for the Illini. Coach Buh has been coaching either defense or linebackers for the last 14 years and his coaching record goes back 24 years.

Adeoye is looking for a new place to finish up his college football career. So, why not come back home? Come back to the area so you can start for a Big Ten program. Come back to where you are comfortable and can play in front of friends and family. Come back to where you have coaches who can develop you and who are also familiar with the state of Missouri. Let’s make this happen.
