The Illinois basketball team beat North Carolina A&T aggies 122-60 and many players played well in the win.

Illinois got their first win of the season against NC A&T Wednesday afternoon. The Illini were connecting on all cylinders. They broke an Illinois team record with 17 total made three-pointers in a game. Multiple players had good games for Illinois. This is why there are co-MVPs for this game.

The co-MVPs of this game go to Adam Miller and Ayo Dosunmu.

Miller, in his first game as an Illini, had 28 points, 2 assists, and 3 rebounds. He shot great from the field, going 10-of-12 overall and 6-of-8 from three-point range. He came out and set the tone for Illinois in this game.

Ayo’s stats for this game consisted of 28 points, 10 rebounds, and 5 assists. He had his best shooting performance in this game since he joined the program in 2018. Ayo shot 11-of-18 from the field and 5-of-8 from three-point range. He did a good job controlling the pace as well. Ayo looked like a leader out there.

Miller and Ayo stood out from everybody else on the court. Stats don’t show it, but these two played well on defense too. They were consistent throughout the game, and they were the driving force to this win. That is why these two get the co-MVPs of this game.
