Illinois football is entering the 2020 campaign with one of the best teams I have seen them field in a long time.

Looking back, I would say I am more comfortable with the Illinois offense this season than I have been in years past. The last time I was this excited about the Illini offense was back in 2007 when the Orange and Blue plowed through the Big Ten and went to the Rose Bowl.

That 2007 campaign featured quarterback, Juice Williams. An electric runner with the arm to throw it down the field, Williams helped propel the Illini to great heights. He was one of the leaders on that offense, just like quarterback Brandon Peters is with the current Illini squad.

Peters is coming off a 2019 campaign where he helped lead Illinois back to a bowl game for the first time in a half-decade. He was one of the main driving forces behind the resurgence of the program.

But which quarterback has been better for the Illini? Was it the playmaking passer in Williams who had one of the best upset wins in school history? Or would you go with Peters, who also had a huge upset win and is looking to finish off his career in style in 2020?

Here is a comparison of the two talented quarterbacks.
