32. Greg Eboigbodin (Old: 3-star/0.8235 – New: 3-star/0.8245)

Illinois got to see a decent amount of Greg Eboigbodin as soon as he entered the program. We needed some athletic size, and that is what Brad Underwood was hoping to get with the under the radar big man.

Eboigbodin was a 6-foot-9, 220-pound power forward coming out of University Of Detroit Jesuit High School and residing in Detroit, Michigan. He was rated as a three-star recruit who was the No. 510 player in the class of 2017 and the No. 120 power forward in the nation. He also had a composite rating of 0.8235.

As soon as Eboigbodin came into the Illinois program, he made an impact on the floor. He played in 30 games as a true freshman and even started in two of those contests. In the time he saw, Eboigbodin averaged 2.2 points and 2.4 rebounds per game.

Sadly, Eboigbodin only spent one season with the Orange and Blue. After his freshman campaign, he decided to transfer out of the program. He would land with Northeastern but had to sit out the 2018-19 campaign. This past season, Eboigbodin played in 30 games and started in six for Northeastern. He ended up averaging about the same numbers as he did with the Illini, putting up 2.4 points and 4 rebounds per game.

Coming into the college ranks, Eboigbodin was a three-star recruit with a rating of 0.8235. I would keep him about the same with a slight uptick. I have Eboigbodin as a three-star recruit with a rating of 0.8245. He was about exactly what the recruiting rankings say he was coming out of high school.
