7. Myke Henry (Old: 4-star/0.9761 – New: 4-star/0.9655)

Not many people will agree with this one. I think people will be surprised I have Myke Henry in the top 20, let alone at the No. 7 spot. But Henry has done some good things at the college level.

Henry was a 6-foot-5, 190-pound shooting guard coming out of Orr High School and residing in Chicago, Illinois. He was rated as a four-star recruit who was the No. 61 player in the class of 2011 and the No. 12 small forward in the nation. He also had a composite rating of 0.9761.

The class of 2011 was supposed to be special for the Illini. It ranked No. 10 in the nation and was led by Henry, who was the highest-rated recruit. But his time with the Orange and Blue didn’t go as planned.

Henry spent two seasons with Illinois and averaged about the same numbers each year. For the two years combined, he would average 3.2 points and 1.7 rebounds per game. There was a coaching change in there as well after Bruce Weber was fired. This contributed to Henry’s departure from Illinois.

The next destination for Henry would be DePaul. He had to sit out a year but was able to put up some good numbers during his junior and senior campaigns. While with DePaul, Henry averaged 12.8 points and 5.8 rebounds per game. He would later go on to play a little bit for the Memphis Grizzlies as well.

Despite the success not being there with Illinois, Henry would go on to have a good career with DePaul. This helped him in the recruiting rating department. He entered the college ranks as a four-star with a rating of 0.9761. I have him taking a slight dip down to a four-star with a rating of 0.9655.
