The Illinois football team isn’t even close to being done recruiting for the class of 2020.

As of right now, the Illini class of 2020 consists of 10 commitments. We rank No. 78 nationally and No. 13 in the Big Ten. This bad ranking doesn’t mean we have recruited below average players, though. The ranking is so low because of quantity, not quality.

Illinois has four top 500 players committed and one player coming from the junior college ranks who could be considered a top 500 player. Throughout the process, the Illinois coaching staff has filled some of the voids in the roster too.

The offense will be adding three offensive linemen as of right now. Each of these linemen stands at least 6-foot-5 and is hovering around the 300-pound mark. This was a big need for the program moving forward. We have also added two big defensive tackles to help the middle of the defensive line. This was a top priority in my books.

I love this entire class of 2020 so far. I think the coaching staff has done a great job. But we aren’t done yet. There are still some big-time recruits out there for the Illini to pull in.

Here is my Illini recruiting wish list for the class of 2020.
