The Illinois basketball team should be in good hands after they received a huge commitment from top recruit, Adam Miller.

Miller announced his commitment to the Illini on Thursday night at the Jordan Store in Chicago. This is starting to become a trend with Illinois as they also landed Ayo Dosunmu two classes ago, and he also announced his commitment in Chicago.

The addition of Miller is big for the Illinois class of 2020. He now joins a class that features a player in Andre Curbelo who is going to run this offense. Curbelo is a top recruit who has the point guard skills needed for this program to win at a high-level.

Miller also joins a big man in Coleman Hawkins who is under-the-radar right now but is about to explode onto the scene with a huge senior season. I love what Hawkins brings to the team in the frontcourt.

I believe Miller brings this class together. I think he is the piece to help us go from a solid program that can make the NCAA tournament, to a team that can make some waves once we get there. This was a huge addition to the program and one that will shift the roster a little bit.

Here is the projected Illini lineup with Adam Miller.
