Offensive Line

Starter LT: Vederian Lowe

I have Vederian Lowe still starting at the left tackle position. The entire offensive line didn’t have a good game against Eastern Michigan, but we need to keep the same core five intact moving forward.

Starter LG: Kendrick Green

I would say Kendrick Green is arguably the best offensive lineman we have on the team right now. He has made every start this season and should continue making starts at left guard. He is a rock in the middle of the offensive line.

Starter C: Doug Kramer

The blame for last week probably shouldn’t go on Doug Kramer. He continues to impress me with his leadership on and off the football field. Having Kramer in the center of the offensive line gives me reassurance that Peters will have help upfront.

Starter RG: Richie Petitbon

Illinois brought in a stabilizing force in Richie Petitbon this season to help on the offensive line. He has started every game at right guard so far and should continue doing so moving forward. I look for him to have a better game against Nebraska.

Starter RT: Alex Palczewski

Illinois isn’t deep on the offensive line but having Alex Palczewski on the end of the line is nice. He has started every game at right tackle and should continue doing so as well. I like his ability to move around the football field.

Backups: Jordyn Slaughter, Julian Pearl, Verdis Brown, Jake Stover, Kurt Gavin
