Offensive Line

Starter LT: Vederian Lowe

Vederian Lowe is going to be slotted into his regular left tackle spot for the Illini against Eastern Michigan. He has been one of the solid five starters for the Orange and Blue this season, and I expect that to continue. Illinois has done a great job not giving up sacks this season only allowing two sacks per game, which ranks No. 72 in the nation.

Starter LG: Kendrick Green

Another offensive line stalwart is Kendrick Green. He has been a great for this offense, especially in the running attack. Green’s ability to move and pull is something that has been pointed out many times on social media. Look for him to continue opening holes for the Illini running backs.

Starter C: Doug Kramer

The center of the offensive line is like an extension of the quarterback. He calls out the stunts and other defensive switch-ups that happen so his teammates know who to block. Without Doug Kramer in the middle of this offensive line, the Illini would be in trouble.

Starter RG: Richie Petitbon

I love the addition of Richie Petitbon this season. He has been a nice veteran leader on this team. His ability to block for the Illinois playmakers is huge for the program. I expect him to continue starting this season.

Starter RT: Alex Palczewski

Illinois has been tremendously balanced this season. We have a passing attack to go along with our running back. A big reason is the great offensive linemen including Alex Palczewski. He is going to be starting at right tackle for as long as he is with the program.

Backups: Jordyn Slaughter, Julian Pearl, Verdis Brown, Jake Stover, Kurt Gavin
