1. Adam Miller

I would say Adam Miller needs to be the top recruit Illinois is pursuing right now. He has been recruited by the Orange and Blue since he entered the high school ranks and should have every resource dumped into him.

Miller is a 6-foot-3, 170-pound shooting guard from Morgan Park High School in Chicago, Illinois. He is rated as a four-star recruit who is the No. 29 player in the class of 2020 and the No. 5 shooting guard in the nation. He is also the No. 2 player in the state of Illinois.

I am starting to worry even more about the Illini guard situation moving forward. Illinois needs to land Miller. He would give us an option at either the No. 1 or No. 2 guard spots. I would assume Trent Frazier is going to be back for his senior year in 2020, so Miller would fit nicely with him.

I have to assume Illinois has an edge up in Miller’s recruitment. Since we have been after him for likely the longest period of time and we have a strong connection with his high school and AAU program, this needs to be a layup for the Illini.

Brad Underwood and the Illinois coaching staff have done a great job with recruiting so far. They can’t let up, though. The class of 2020 is huge for the future of this team. We are recruiting with the big boys and these top recruits aren’t going to stay very long. We need Miller.
