3. Keon Ambrose-Hylton

Over the last few months, Illinois has been targeting a solid forward who could help this team down the road. The Illini were able to come in with a scholarship offer to Keon Ambrose-Hylton, and it looks like this connection is starting to develop.

Ambrose-Hylton is a 6-foot-8, 200-pound power forward from Andrews Osborne Academy in Toronto, Ontario. He is rated as a four-star recruit who is the No. 81 player in the class of 2020 and the No. 13 power forward in the nation. He is also the No. 3 player in Ontario.

The recruitment for Ambrose-Hylton is about to heat up even more. It does seem like Illinois is one of his top schools right now, but there are a few other teams up there for this kid. 247Sports has Dayton, Florida and Xavier all in the mix with the Illini. He is about to start taking more visits, so this list could completely change over the next few months.

This summer, Ambrose-Hylton suited up for UPLAY Canada in the Nike EYBL. In the 17 games he played the entire year, he averaged 14.2 points, 6.5 rebounds, 1.5 assists and 1.3 steals per game. He would be a great addition to the Illinois roster. His length is tremendous. I love his ability to play defense and still has a solid offensive game too. He would be electrifying at the State Farm Center.
