The Illinois football team has already done a great job building out their wide receiver corps as of late.

As far as new blood is concerned, the Illini are bringing in Casey Washington from the class of 2019 and Jadon Thompson from the class of 2020. Washington is a 6-foot-2, 175-pound three-star recruit and Thompson checks in as a 6-foot-2, 160-pound four-star recruit. These two will help with youth at the position.

Illinois is also bringing in two graduate transfers who both have two years of eligibility remaining. Josh Imatorbhebhe and Trevon Sidney are both USC transfers and will both help this program tremendously. Imatorbhebhe is a 6-foot-2, 215-pound pass catcher who was a four-star recruit coming out of high school. Sidney was right there with Imatorbhebhe. He is a 5-foot-11, 170-pound pass catcher who was also a four-star recruit.

There is no doubt these four additions to the team, along with the talent we already have, will take this Illini offense to a new level. But there were still a few big pass-catching targets left out there that I wanted Illinois to land. One of them was AJ Henning.

Henning is a four-star recruit who is in the top 200 nationally. He is also the best player in the state of Illinois, which would have been nice to keep him in-state. But Henning decided, on Wednesday, that he wanted to go elsewhere. Michigan was able to pull him in. They are getting a great player. But what is now left for the Illini?

Here are the top four wide receivers left for the Illini in 2020.
