It is fun to think about how good Ayo Dosunmu is going to be in his final season with the Illinois basketball program.

Ayo was projected to be an NBA Draft pick in 2019 but decided to come back to school for one more year. This was a smart decision because I believe he can work his way up the draft board and make himself a lot more money on his rookie contract.

The skills Ayo displays on the basketball court can translate into the NBA as well. This kid has everything you want in a player. He can play defense. He can distribute the basketball. And, when he wants to, he can score the ball from anywhere on the court. I think he will be a mainstay in the NBA. But what team will land this talented Chicago kid?

All the NBA teams could use Ayo. They could use a guard who can get his teammates involved in the game while also getting buckets. But what teams need him the most? Where does he fit the best with the future of a franchise?
