The Illinois basketball team needs to add at least one more player to the class of 2019.

Illinois is losing a few talented players from this past season. Aaron Jordan is departing after four years with the Orange and Blue. His solid three-point shooting and hard work will be missed. As a fan, I appreciated him sticking it out with the Illini even though the team never made the NCAA tournament.

Adonis De La Rosa will also be gone from this season. He was a backup to Giorgi Bezhanishvili at the No. 5 spot. His past injuries hampered him a bit this season, so he wasn’t as effective as he was pre-injury. But, thankfully, Brad Underwood was able to secure a couple of big men in Kofi Cockburn and Antwan January to help fill the void left by De La Rosa.

We are still looking to add someone at the No. 2 and No. 3 spots on the team, though. I want to see a nice backup to Frazier or, potentially, someone who can come in and start at the No. 3 spot from day one. Either one of these would be nice and would help the team immediately.

Here are five transfers who could help the Illini next season.
