1. Reggie Love

One of the biggest positions that the Illinois football team is going to need to fill after the 2019 season is running back. We will be losing Reggie Corbin to the NFL, and he is going to need to be replaced.

The Illini have some solid players behind Corbin right now. I like Mike Epstein, Ra’Von Bonner and company, but I think we need someone else in the mix. I think we need a talented running back who can make a huge impact immediately on this team. That player is Reggie Love.

Love is a 5-foot-10, 190-pound running back from Trinity Catholic High School in St. Louis, Missouri. He is rated as a four-star recruit who is the No. 336 player in the class of 2020 and the No. 23 running back in the nation. He is also the No. 6 player in the state of Missouri as well.

The list for Love was cut down to seven teams back on January 14. He kept TCU, Notre Dame, Nebraska, Wisconsin, Kentucky, Purdue and Illinois on this list. This would be a big one for the Illini to win, but I would keep an eye out for Notre Dame. They seem to snag talented players from this area as well.

Illinois is in the top seven for Love. They have some of his teammates and a former coach on the team right now. The Illini also have a great location as well. I think we are going to be in the mix down the stretch for this kid.
