5. Trent’s three-point range is electrifying

There were times this season where I wasn’t sure what was going on with Trent Frazier. He looked timid and unsure of himself on the court. This hurt his game and the team. But, I think all of that is getting figured out.

The last four games have been sensational for Frazier. This kid is starting to get into a groove that he had been missing for much of the season. It all started with the 30-point performance against Minnesota, and he hasn’t slowed down.

In the three games leading up to the contest against Rutgers on Saturday, Frazier was 11-of-22 from the three-point arc, which comes out to 50-percent. That is a dangerous clip that he was shooting. He improved on those numbers against the Scarlet Knights, though.

Frazier finished the game on Saturday with 17 points and went 5-of-9 from three-point land. 5-of-9 comes out to 55-percent from deep. That is a great number. His great performance also brings his three-point shooting in the last four games up to 51.6-percent. Those are numbers Steph Curry would be jealous of.

Something about Frazier’s three-point shots is electrifying. Whenever he shoots, I think the ball is going in, no matter where he is on the court. He is a special player for this program.
