No. 1 Guard
Starter: Ayo Dosunmu
It looks like superstar true freshman Ayo Dosunmu could be coming in and starting at the No. 1 spot from day one. This is exciting news considering how talented this kid is. He has all the tools you would want in a player and will make this team instantly better than last season.
Dosunmu is coming in as a five-star recruit from the class of 2018. He was the best player in the state of Illinois, and he is going to show that on the court. For most of the summer, I had Trent Frazier in the No. 1 spot, but I believe it will be Dosunmu to start the year.
Backup: Andres Feliz
The backup No. 1 guard to start the season should be Andres Feliz. This kid is a great junior college transfer who still has two years of eligibility remaining. He was an extremely underrated pickup for Brad Underwood and his coaching staff.
Feliz was one of the top overall JUCO transfers for 2018 and was the best JUCO point guard in the nation. This kid will see a lot of playing time because of his experience and ability to lead on the court. He is a player who fans should watch out for this season.
