4. Anthony Walker – VCU 45%, Pittsburgh 30%, Illinois 25%

Another big man the Illini are after who could help the team in the future is Anthony Walker. He has great size and athletic ability to help this program at the No. 4 or No. 5 spot moving forward.

Walker is a 6-foot-8, 205-pound power forward from Brewster Academy in Wolfeboro, New Hampshire. He is rated as a three-star recruit who is the No. 140 player in the class of 2019 and the No. 25 power forward in the nation. He is also the No. 4 player in the state of New Hampshire.

The five official visits have been set for Walker. His first one was actually to Illinois back on September 6. He then visited Pittsburgh on September 15 and Rhode Island on September 22. He will be down to see Miami (FL) this weekend on October 6. Walker will then finish his official visits on October 20 with a visit to VCU.

Illinois going first worries me a little bit. They won’t be the freshest on his mind, but I would bet Underwood and the coaching staff has been in constant communication with this kid. They are probably recruiting him pretty hard.

I can’t read Walker’s recruitment. He is an east coast kid and has some east coast programs on his list. I would assume Illinois probably isn’t in the lead here, but they aren’t out of it either. I think the Illini will have a chance considering they made his top five.
