The Illinois football team has a nice class of 2019 building right now.

Here is how some of the Illini class of 2019 fared on Friday in their high school games.

Marquez Beason – Duncanville Panthers

Marquez Beason joined the Duncanville squad before the 2018 season. He transferred in from Bishop Dunne High School.

So far, Duncanville has started off well. They are 2-0 after beating South Oak Cliff on Friday night, 7-0. Last year, Duncanville had a great defense, only giving up 9.33 points per game. That number has actually improved in 2018. Through two games, they have scored 34 points and given up a total of zero.

The next game for Duncanville is against Evangel Christian Academy in Shreveport, Louisiana.

Isaiah Williams and Bryce Childress – Trinity Catholic Titans

The Trinity Titans didn’t start the way they probably wanted to in 2018. They were 0-2 entering last night’s contest against DuBourg. But, the team played well and came away with a victory, 36-6.

This was a nice win by Trinity. Isaiah Williams and Bryce Childress helped lead the team down the field. They weren’t able to put a touchdown on the board, but James Frenchie, Teriyon Cooper and Marcus Washington all had one-yard touchdown runs. This was a good win for this program. Their next game is against Living Word Christian.

Kyron Cumby – Plano Wildcats

The Plano Wildcats were another team looking to get in the win column for the first time on Friday night. They accomplished this goal in a big way. Plano took down Eastwood 72-48.

Plano now moves to 1-1 on the season after a tough loss by one point to Hebron in week one. Kyron Cumby helped lead his Plano team past Eastwood this week. He rushed for 146 yards on seven carries. He also added three touchdowns as well. This was an impressive night.

Nick Fedanzo – Montini Broncos

The Montini Broncos continued their hot streak on Friday night by beating the Marmion Cadets 27-3 and moving to 3-0 on the season. This was a dominating win from the start taking a 21-0 leading into the halftime locker room.

Illinois commit Nick Fedanzo had a few big runs that helped lead the Broncos to scores during the game. His presence helped this team and it will help the Illini as well.

Casey Washington – Pflugerville Panthers

I couldn’t find any stats on Illini commit Casey Washington, but his Pflugerville Panthers team moved to 1-1 on the season after beating Leander, 37-20. This was a much-needed win by the Panthers, and they take on Elgin next week.

Griffin Moore – Bloomington Purple Raiders

There were a few games that were absolute blowouts on Friday night. One of those games was the Bloomington Purple Raiders over Peoria Manual 50-0. This was an ugly game led by Illinois commit, Griffin Moore.

Moore – who is a tight end commit – threw for 120 yards and three touchdowns in the throttling of Manual.

Illini quarterback Cam Thomas leaving the program. dark. Next

Seth Coleman – Holy Trinity Episcopal Tigers

Holy Trinity got in the win column on Friday night for the first time in 2018 in a big way. They won the game over Berean Christian, 78-0. The Tigers now move to 1-2 on the season.

There aren’t any stats for Seth Coleman, but he is a part of Holy Trinity’s defense and they are only giving up 15 points per game this season. The fact they didn’t give up a single point to Berean is impressive.
