4. Terrence Shannon – Target

Illinois hasn’t made the top list for everyone on this slideshow yet, but there is a legit possibility they end up making Terrence Shannon’s list whenever he decides to cut it down. He is an underrated wing player who could be a great asset to the Illini.

Shannon is a 6-foot-6, 185-pound small forward from Lincoln Park High School in Chicago, Illinois. He is rated as a four-star recruit who is the No. 93 player in the class of 2019 and the No. 23 small forward in the nation.

There hasn’t been a list cut, like previously mentioned, but you can kind of map out the potential schools who will be there at the end. I think Illinois is one of those teams. They have been recruiting Shannon for a few months now since he started really taking off in the recruiting rankings. Chin Coleman is also the main man leading his recruitment as well.

Some of the other programs who are right there in Shannon’s recruitment are Florida State and DePaul. They both have received official visits and that puts them in the top five for this talented wing player.

With three official visits left, which programs will be lucky enough to have Shannon come visit their program? I think Illinois likely leads Shannon’s recruitment right now. I would say they are at 50-percent. I would put DePaul right up there as well at 35-pecent. The other 15-percent is up in the air. The Illini have a legit shot at landing Shannon, though.
