The Illinois basketball team continues to add talent to the class of 2018.

On Sunday, the Illini added another talented guard who should be used immediately. Andres Feliz decided to end his recruitment and commit to playing for Brad Underwood and the Illini. This was a very underrated get for the Orange and Blue.

Illinois now has a total of six players committed to the class of 2018. Ayo Dosunmu leads the bunch as far as ratings go. He is a five-star recruit. Tevian Jones is the next highest rated recruit. He is a four-star wing player. I think Feliz probably should be a four-star if he was coming out of high school with the talent he has right now. I look for him to make an impact.

The Illini also have Giorgi Bezhanishvili, Samba Kane and Alan Griffin all coming in as well. These three three-star recruits will be huge for this Illini program now and into the future. I expect all six recruits to see minutes this season and some of them should be huge contributors.

Illinois isn’t done with the class of 2018 either. As of right now, they have one scholarship remaining. They could still use a player at the No. 4 spot on the team. I think that is where they should go next. But, I like the roster right now too.

Here is the projected Illini starting lineup with Andres Feliz.
