Illinois Football: Top 5 recruiting targets left for Illini in 2019

The Illinois football team has the most recruiting momentum I have seen in the last decade.

Illinois continues to recruit four states extremely hard. They have focused on the state of Illinois in which there is a multitude of talented players for 2019. It is the deepest class from Illinois that I have seen in a long time. I would love to scoop up multiple players for 2019 from the state of Illinois.

Another state Illinois is focusing on is Florida. There are so many talented players in this state where even the mid-level recruits are extremely talented. Getting a few players from here in 2019 would be beneficial to the team.

Illinois has hit the state of Missouri hard as well. High schools in the St. Louis area produce such talented players and the Illini want a piece of that pie. They are really making a name for themselves in the state of Missouri.

The final state is Texas. Illinois snagged some great players from the Lone Star State in the class of 2018 and they have already added Marquez Beason to the class of 2019. Beason is the highest rated recruit to commit to Illinois in the last 10 recruiting classes. He is a game changer for this program.

Illinois needs to continue that great momentum, though. Here are the top 5 targets for the Illini in the class of 2019.
