4. Trent Frazier is becoming more well-rounded

Everyone knows how well Trent Frazier can put the ball in the hoop. He has been great this year for the Illini, and he is only a true freshman. Just imagine what he will be like when he is a junior or senior with this program.

There is no question what Frazier can do on the basketball court, but one issue I had with him is how well he can do the other things. He can put up points, but his assists were a little low and he wasn’t a great rebounding guard. This season, he has averaged 12.3 points, 2.9 assists and 1.8 rebounds per game.

These numbers have improved throughout the season, though. Just in the last 11 games, Frazier has started to become a more complete player. He has averaged 15.2 points, 3.5 assists and 2 rebounds per game in this time. All of those numbers are above his average.

Frazier needs to do some things to improve his efficiency around the rim, but there are so many more good things than bad with him. He continues to improve every day with his scoring, assists and rebounds. He is going to be an Illini legend by the time he is finished in Champaign.
