Tevian Jones – Confidence 23%

Tevian Jones is a 6-foot-6, 200-pound forward from Culver City High School in Culver City, California. He is rated as a four-star recruit who is the No. 117 player in the class of 2018 and the No. 10 player in the state of California.

Jones has a ton of recruiting attention from some of the bigger programs in the nation. He has offers from a wide range of programs which include Arizona, UNLV and USC. Illinois is in the mix for this young talented wing player, though.

Illinois really started to turn up the heat on Jones toward the end of 2017. They offered him a scholarship, and he has been visited by the Illini as well. Arizona is the other team that is projected to potentially land Jones. They have been putting the full-court press on him as well. The Wildcats just offered him a scholarship a week ago.

Honestly, I would bet Jones’ recruitment is down to Illinois and Arizona. With the Wildcats being a lot closer for him and they have a program that is in the top 25 right now, I would assume he ends up picking Arizona. But, I have seen weirder things. The Illini aren’t out of the running but I think they are trailing.
