Here is the Illinois football recruiting big board for National Signing Day 2018

  • Jacob Hollins (SIGNED)

Hollins is a 6-foot-2, 215-pound inside linebacker from Central East High School in Fresno, California. He is rated as a two-star recruit who is ranked as the No. 3,323 player in the class of 2018 and the No. 144 inside linebacker in the nation.

Illinois and Fresno State are the two teams Hollins is down to right now. He will be signing today between 1-2PM CT.

  • Merlin Robertson

Robertson is a 6-foot-3, 241-pound outside linebacker from Junipero Serra High School in Gardena, California. He is rated as a four-star recruit who is the No. 129 player in the class of 2018 and the No. 8 outside linebacker in the nation.

The decision for Robertson is coming down to Illinois and Arizona State. Both have a lot of former NFL experience to offer the kid. This will be an interesting choice for one of the best linebackers in the country. His announcement comes between 3-5 PM CT today.

  • Dylan Wyatt

Wyatt is a 6-foot-2, 170-pound cornerback from St. Mary’s College High School in Albany, California. He is rated as a two-star recruit who is the No. 3,742 player in the class of 2018 and the No. 352 cornerback in the nation.

Illinois started to give Wyatt some serious attention as of late. He has one of the guests of the program last weekend when he took an official visit to Champaign as well. Right now, Wyatt is committed to Northern Arizona but that could change today.

UPDATE: Wyatt will be announcing and signing on Saturday, February 10. He has also decommitted from Northern Arizona and will be choosing between Illinois and Tennessee.

  • Coran Taylor (SIGNED)

Taylor is a 6-foot-3, 195-pound quarterback from Peoria High School in Peoria, Illinois. He is rated as a three-star recruit who is the No. 874 player in the class of 2018 and the No. 24 dual-threat quarterback in the nation.

Illinois already landed Taylor with a verbal commitment but he didn’t sign during the early signing period. I will be watching to see if he makes it official today.

  • Manny Allen

Allen is a 6-foot-2, 175-pound wide receiver from Rancho Verde High School in Moreno Valley, California. He is rated as a three-star recruit who is the No. 410 player in the class of 2018 and the No. 70 wide receiver in the nation.

As of right now, Allen is committed to Louisville, but Illinois made a strong push for him over the last few months. They have now made his decision interesting, and I wonder where he will sign today. A lot of the experts at 247Sports now has his decision as ‘foggy’.
