Cadarius Gaskin

Illinois has already snagged a few good wide receivers for the class of 2018. I really like Carlos Sandy and Edwin Carter. Both of these players will be nice pieces for the Illini offense moving forward. But, Illinois might not be done with the wide receiver position yet.

Cadarius Gaskin is still available in the recruiting market, and he has been an Illini target for quite some time. He is also being recruited by Thad Ward, who has a tendency to get players to come to Littyville.

Gaskin would be a great addition to the Illinois offense. He is a 6-foot-3, 215-pound wide receiver from Atlantic High School in Delray Beach, Florida. He is rated as a three-star recruit who is the No. 784 player in the class of 2018 and the No. 123 wide receiver in the nation.

Right now, 247Sports is saying Florida Atlantic is the biggest threat to the Illini. The Crystal Ball is pointed in the direction of Gaskin to FAU but I think Illinois can snag this talented wide receiver. The Illini could always use another big pass catcher like Gaskin.

It will be interesting to see if the Illini can land the majority of the recruits on this list. They are all extremely talented and would help boost the Illinois class of 2018 into the top 40, most likely. It will be interesting to see who ends up signing with Illinois during this signing period and who ends up waiting until February.
