2. Jordyn Slaughter

There are a lot of recruits the Illini have committed for 2018 that aren’t getting talked about enough. One of those recruits is Jordyn Slaughter.

Illinois always needs more help on the offensive line, and Slaughter brings a lot of talent and size to the table. He is going to be a sensational player for the Illini and the recruiting sites tend to agree. He is rated as a three-star recruit who is the No. 917 player in the class of 2018 and the No. 80 offensive tackle in the nation. The fact he is a top 1000 recruit is important. That is what I look for with the Illini recruiting right now.

Luke Butkus landed Slaughter for the Illini. He was a big part of his recruitment, and now he will be making it official this Friday. Slaughter didn’t announce an official time but he did he say he would be signing his National Letter of Intent.

I am telling you, Illinois got an extremely underrated recruit in Slaughter. Do you want depth on the offensive line and a player who can compete for a starting job in the next few years? Well, that is what you are getting with this kid.
