Brad Underwood and the Illinois basketball team still has a lot of work left to do on the class of 2018.

This is a class that will define whether or not the Illini will be contenders in the Big Ten for the next few years. There are some extremely talented, and needed, players in the class of 2018 who will help change the fortunes of this program for good.

All of the players the Illini are after have pros in their game. This could be from their athletic ability to seeing the floor better than anyone in the class. The pros can vary greatly but each recruit Underwood is pursuing has upside now or down the road.

Almost all of these recruits also have some cons as well. Some of the cons vary from shooting being down lately and needing to improve to not being an immediate impact and fans having to wait to see him play down the road.

No matter what, though, I would take every single one of these recruits on the team today. They all have talent that will help the program in some way now or in the future, and that is what I am looking for in recruits

Here are the pros and cons for the class of 2018 recruits.
