There are a few big-time targets for the Illinois basketball team in 2018.

These class of 2018 targets are important for the future of the program. Ayo Dosunmu is the biggest fish out of the bunch. He is needed at the point guard position and would be an incredible get for Brad Underwood.

Another important recruit for the Illini is Tim Finke. He is important for many reasons which include how talented he is, where he is from and how he could be used in Underwood’s system. He also mentioned his top five in an interview as well.

In an interview with Doug Bucshon of Rivals, Finke mentions his top five teams right now are Ohio State, Oregon, Vanderbilt, Notre Dame and Illinois. That is a scary list to deal with but the Illini should have a good shot at landing this talented 2018 recruit.

Finke is a 6-foot-6, 201-pound small forward from Champaign Central High School in Champaign, Illinois. He is rated as a four-star recruit who is the No. 83 player in the class of 2018 and the No. 23 small forward in the nation.

All five of these teams have their ups and downs for this kid, but he can only choose one program. Here are the pros and cons for each team.
