The Illinois basketball team added another player to their class of 2017 just a few days ago.

Matic Vesel was a big man commitment for the Illini that will help the team this upcoming season and down the road as well. This kid helps with depth in the paint and will develop into a starter within a year or two of being in the program.

Brad Underwood has done an amazing job coming into the Illinois basketball program and building a class of 2017 that is likely to finish ranked in the top 25. He has snagged an Illinois Mr. Basketball, a legacy recruit, one of the top point guards in the state of Florida and two big men who weren’t on the radar of other programs but will help the team tremendously.

The first month and a half for Underwood has been a complete success. His recruiting, as well as his coaching staffs recruiting, has been great for the Illini. If his coaching is even half as good as his recruiting, this upcoming season for Illinois should be a postseason berth.

Since there was a new commitment to the program, that now changes the lineup a little bit. Here is the projected lineup for the Illini with the addition of Matic Vesel.
