There are some Illinois football fans who are worried about the class of 2018.

Illinois has only signed two recruits for 2018 and worrying is understandable. Only two recruits won’t get you anywhere. But, the class of 2018 isn’t over yet and there is still plenty of time until that first week of February in 2018.

The Illini will sign a good class for 2018 and there are players spread throughout the country who can help this team tremendously. While they haven’t committed, they are still weighing their options and Illinois is in their mind.

Some of these recruiting targets have even cut their lists down. They have all of these scholarship offers but they don’t want to deal with that many teams anymore. So, there are some who cut their lists to 15, 12, 10 or even four programs they will be choosing from.

Illinois has made some of these talented recruit’s top lists. They kept the Illini in the running for one reason or another but the most important thing is Illinois is still alive for their commitment. They need to snag a few of these recruits to continue building for the future.
