No. 2 Trent Frazier (Freshman)

Trent Frazier will be a freshman next season, and Illini fans are expecting big things already. Why wouldn’t they? He is a top recruit from Wellington High School in Wellington, Florida, and he was named Player of the Year in the state as well. He is also a four-star recruit who is the No. 85 player in the class of 2017 and the No. 21 point guard in the nation.

Frazier’s stats from his senior year are just crazy. He averaged over 27 points per game with 6 rebounds, 4 assists and almost 3 steals as well. How would he fit in Underwood’s offense?

Well, just watch highlights of Jawun Evans at Oklahoma State last season. Frazier is the yin to Lucas’ yang. He will score a lot of points for the Illinois basketball team next season, and he will get up and down the floor at a ferocious pace.

Frazier could also be a guy who wants to take the last shot to win the game for you. This kid exudes confidence. Most of these guards really do, but Frazier definitely has that killer instinct.

Prediction: 6th man/First off the bench
